So i installed the new version of itunes and just burned an mp3 cd tried it twice. it won't play in my car stereo which played mp3s burned from the earlier version just fine. Any ideas what to do? thanks in advance.

okay just figured out something, the disc will play it just takes about 3 minutes to read no joke. i timed it. before in itunes 6 the disc would take maybe 20 - 30 seconds to load. am i burning the disc incorrectly? i have 93 tracks on it all from different albums and artists.

Maybe it's just a brand of disc your player doesn't like. At least on a Mac, iTunes 7 uses the same disc burning mechanism as iTunes 6: Mac OS X's disc burning framework. The discs produced should be identical.

same brand i've always used, maxell i think. I burned one last week from the same spindle no trouble. now it takes 3 minutes to read this is ridiculous. would the gapless playback affect anything?
