I recently found a very useful application for fixing missing/incorrect tags, (www.fixtunes.com) however it is Windows only at this time. Since I have Parallels installed I was wondering what the implications would be of moving my iTunes Library to Windows temporarily. Would this work at all? Would it reset play counts, dates, etc? I really don't want to have to recreate my playlists, etc. again after bringing the corrected files back from the Windows side. The other possibility would be to just take the tracks themselves over to Windows and update all the tags and then bring them back to the Mac. Does anyone have any idea if this would cause iTunes to freak out when most of the tracks would be modified from outside the application?

More importantly, is there any app on the Mac that serves a similar function? Basically, I have almost 20,000 tracks and most have partially incomplete tags and I would like to complete them. Some are missing the album, some are missing the genre, others are missing artwork and many are missing all three and more. I really don't plan on spending the time to fix them all manually, but would like them fixed at some point.

Suggestions?
