Hi guys! i have some pictures that are *sensitive* and i want/have them in a specific folder, yet they still show up in my library. my question is, how do i get it so that they don't show in the library, but can be seen in this special folder? thanks !

Would be nice to be able to do this, but I don't think there is a way right now.

You could set up a seperate iPhoto library for your "sensitive" photos. Just hold down the option key when you start iPhoto and create a new library. You can switch between them using the same method.

Or keep them out of iPhoto altogether - make a copy of the originals, then delete them in iPhoto and empty your iPhoto trash.

THis is a better idea. Stash your porn or naked photos of your girl in a folder in the Finder - the iPhoto library will always show every photo contained in every folder or album.

Just don't label the folder "THIS IS PORN." Then they'll know that it's porn.
And never, ever tape yourself having sex. I can't stress this enough.

Yeah, it's better to have someone else tape you. Otherwise the camera angles get all fugly. It would be nice if iPhoto had a way of password protecting a library. In absence of that, I made an encrypted disc image and put a second iPhoto library on there. When my *sensitive* photos are needed, I just mount the disc image with my password, and switch libraries. Personally I use iPhoto Buddy, but I can't say I know why anymore.
