Hi - I have i tunes on a pc and want to transfer the content to my new macbook pro - how do i do this easily, i'm not online at home either yet, does this matter. Thanks!

There are several ways to do this, depending on your settup, some may be easier than others...

First, there's physically getting the tunes to your new machine. If you have an external hard drive, that's probably easiest.

If both machines have wireless though, I've had luck with sharing the library on the PC, then using Blue Coconut to copy the entire library to the MAC. Might take all night if you have a large collection, but worked for me.

Thanks, is there no way I can dump the content from ipod to new itunes on macbook? seems pretty technical. Understand why it's made hard - piracy etc but given all my music is legit it sounds quite hard to do.

You can do this using OurTunes or something like that. A quick web-search should help you find software that will take tunes off the iPod and into iTunes.
