When I use Frontrow and watch a video, then go back to the main video menu, it stalls for about 30seconds before i can navigate the menu again.

Any ideas why this would be?

is it pausing on a wmv file?...ive noticed FR hangs up whenever it goes over a wmv file for me :shrug:

No, it happens on the main video menu where you can pick, Shared Videos, Movies, TV Shows etc.

network activity? Searching for other macs? Scanning iTunes videos?

shouldn't those things happen only if I choose the relevant menu option?

Example:

Network activity should only happen if I choose Trailers, or shared movies
Same with searching for other macs

Scanning iTunes videos should only happen if I choose Movies, TV Shows etc
