I created a humor website for my coworkers and have it hosted on a Linux server. The problem I am having is when I try to upload the updated pages to the FTP, I get an error message saying I don't have permission to modify them. Under permission, it says I can only read the files. When I connect to the FTP site, it opens it in Finder. I don't have any additional software installed. If I use Windows to connect, I can modify the items and upload them. I would like to be able to upload the files from my iMac where I created them. Do I need to change a setting somewhere or do I need to download an FTP client software? thanks.
