Hi, bit of a newb. While I can find related topics, i can't seem to find this exact one. I'm trying to burn some stuff I recorded off the telly (show shifter is great), What I want to know is: In iDVD

1) can I change the record mode/time on my dvd rw? I say this because it says i have 4 record options for them (Fine, SP, LP and EPlike on the old vhs).

2) If so how do change the record/time mode?

3) I have a 4.7gb disk and five avi movies are a combined total of 1749.7meg. that's less than 2 gig. so why, when I try and burn to dvd, does it say i have 12.9gig ready to burn?

kinda feel a bit peeved as i can't find anything in the iDVD help files, and i don't want to delete it yet (i have a lot of disk space to free up). any help appreciated.
