Skype menu bar icon bug - anybody else have it?

So even though I downloaded the newest Skype version, there seems to be a little bug where the Skype menu bar icon leaves a gap to the next icon. The strange thing is though, that the gap is 'clickable' and shows the Skype menu.



Does anyone else here have this bug, too? Are there any workarounds?

I'm running v. 2.0.0.2 on a MBP 2.0 GHz with 10.4.7.

I see it. Sometimes relaunching makes it go away, sometimes not.
