Could anyone tell me what I need to do to move the icons in the finder bar? I put the setting for how I want the clock to be displayed (on the bar as usual or in a separate pop-up window), and now it's messed up. Here's a screenie of what it looks like:



Now, is there any way to move the Sound icon to the left of the time/date thingy?

Hold down the command key and drag them around.

It's not the "Finder bar". You see those things in all programs not just the Finder. It's called the menu bar. This question belongs into the Mac OS X forum.

And sorry for posting it in the wrong place. Must be a brainfart.

Note - just to save you some frustration if you are trying - you can't move the Apple and Spotlight icons in the menubar. Those two are immutable.
