OK, I wonder if anybody can help me here. I'm not all that much of a technical person.

I've just got a new Macbook today and went about setting it up, all no problem.

Then I realised that the itunes supplied is not the newest one. So after upgrading to iTunes 7 i had a play around with the remote (haven't used one before) and have found that it does not seem to 'see' my TV shows that are on iTunes. I get the message "There are no TV shows in your itunes library" when i click on TV shows with the remote.

I thought it mght have something to do with it being a new version of itunes so i ran software update and downloaded a (300mb) Mac OSX update and installed that. The problem still persists.

Under movies it does show these (although I only have one and it is in the 'Movie' folder on the computer - so not a thorough test)

Having just checked, if i move tv shows into the movie folder it will display them there (but only by episode title and not sorted by show or anything).

It's probably just a setting or something that is wrong but I cant even find where to change the settings for the remote.

Any amount of help would be greatly apreciated.

Thanks,
Paul.

Simply get info on the files you want to be tv shows, click the video tab, and from the type select "TV Show" instead of "Movie" which is currently selected

No sorry, thanks for your reply but it isn't that simple. They are all listed as TV shows in iTunes and were bought from the ITS.

I cant fathom it out!

If they are unchecked in iTunes, Front Row will not display them.

You need to host them somewhere else, like here: TinyPic Video and Image Hosting

And then paste the URL to the image between [ IMG ] [ /IMG ] tags (without the spaces). You can copy the URL with those tags from TinyPic.

But I think we understand what your problem is already. Unfortunately I know of no other reason for the issue other than the two mentioned already.

Have you authorised the computer for playback of iTS files? It's under the Store menu in iTunes 7

Do a Software Update to grab any Front Row updates.
