My Safari has been acting weird for a few days. I have two specific problems. At school when I connect to the WiFi, Safari crashes upon opening repeatedly. The only thing I can do is turn off the wireless radio, load Safari and then re-connect. It works but it's a nuisance.

The second problem is that when I'm inputting text into boxes (such as I'm doing right now), if push tab+enter to send whatever I'm writing, it freezes and I have to Force Quit out of Safari. It will only work if I use the mouse to click the submit/go/send button of the box I'm writing in.

I haven't done much that could have caused this... all I did was install AcidSearch. Anyone know if it's known to cause the problems I'm having? Seems unlikely.

I realize I posted in the wrong forum... can someone kindly move it to the apps forum? I don't see a button to delete my post.

If it wasn't crashing before installing AcidSearch, and now it is. Its almost definatley that.
If not, try deleting the preferences (com.apple.Safari.plist)
we don't have time to stop for gas

I had a problem in my powerbook once with Safar crashing on launch, and a few other problems. Turns out my RAM was bad. I also sometimes have Safari crash when I load CNN.com.

I don't think it's the RAM... I've had my modules for a few months and this problem is only a few days old. What I find weird is that only that one specific network at school makes it crash.

I'll have to delete AcidSearch I guess...
