Does any one know since they do not support JAVA any more of a app that i can chat using something. chitchat and charla do not work any more for me.

I can't go in to chat rooms with messenger. I need a app to get in to chat rooms. I also don't want to guess the room there fore a list woud be needed like in chit chat or charla.
