Hi folks--new to the Mac world and to this forum.

I am a writing teacher, and I would like to be able to handwrite editing marks on students' documents using my Wacom Graphire 4 graphics tablet. MS Office (along with some bundled Wacom software called JustWrite) lets me do this on a PC, but on a Mac, I don't think Office supports that feature. As far as I can tell, Inkwell works, but it wants to recognize the handwriting, and I really need to just draw on the document--cross out words, insert commas, and the like. Inkpad works, but inserting my handwriting as a sketch causes the shoving aside of the students' typed words. (Of course, as new as I am to all this, I could just be uninformed about some of Inkwell/pad's capabilities.)

Does anyone out there know of any software, either an addon to Office or something built into OS X, that will do what I need it to do? Any advice will be much appreciated.

I don't know if that can be done in Word, but you could convert to PDF and mark that up.

Meanwhile, does anyone know how to enable Inkwell in 10.4.8? I know it's supposed to show up in System Preferences when you have a Wacom tablet connected, but that isn't happening with my Graphire Bluetooth tablet.
I do not like those green links and spam.
I do not like them, Sam I am.
