Hey, i just received my new mac pro (didn't use any mac at all since 92), and i just read the "uninstall app" tuturial.

however i'm not convinced, i just installed msn windows messenger, wich i didn't like at all, and i would like to deinstall it, however if i drag and drop in the trash, it will be files that i am not erasing, is that right ? how i can delete all files created with that program ?

MSN Messenger is a drag-and-drop install. You installed it by dragging it to your Applications folder; you uninstall it by dragging it to the Trash. If you're a fanatic and want to remove the preference files, then look in the Preferences and Application Support folders in the Library folders. This is all covered in the sticky thread.

This is the way it is; if you don't feel "convinced", then I'm not sure what to tell you. You can feel free to reformat your hard drive if you think it'll make you feel better. I'm telling you, though, dragging the app to the Trash really is all you need to do on the Mac.
