Hello,

I just downloaded a movieclip which is in .nrg-format. I cant open in VLC or any other program.

What should I do to watsh it?

.nrg is a disk image created by Nero. AFAIK you'll need a Windows box with Nero to open or burn the disk image which contains the movie you just pirated.

I'm sure VLC or Mplayer play .nrg files, im very very sure i've done it in the past... get the latest version of both and give it a go. (im pretty sure it was VLC)
I free'd my mind... now it won't come back.

Oh, to respond to the original question: Apparently VLC can play some NRG files, but not all.

I've always been able to convert them to standard mpg with VCDGearX, but that said I haven't had many to try it on.
