7 and 7.1, oh, please! We know you can do better than that apple, now I can't even apply settings for my iPod without it crashing and quitting itself! And on the new iPods, you have to use it! Any help out there.. now?
I miss the days of the G5 and XPS Pentium 4 running side by side as high-end machines.

similar issues here. My iPod causes iTunes to get the spinning beach ball of death requiing me to force quit every time. The worst part is it crashed my ipod and I somehow lost my tunes on said ipod. I am currently screwed.

Hey, No problems here with my 4GB black 1st gen ipod nano and itunes. There are only 2 beefs I have with itunes 7:

1. It doesn't embed the album art in the actual files, it just keeps it in the DB. I want it in the file.
2. None of the itunes downloading apps work. I use them to keep my libraries consistent between my 2 machines.

I don't. No plugins or extras at all.

I get only intermittent access to the iTunes Store with 7.0.1. I often get the same error stating that I should check my network connection. This, despite the fact that I'm connected and can surf, email, etc.

I've been fortunate in that I have had zero problems with iTunes 7.0 and 7.0.1

no problems here, either.

26,000-song library mostly on a networked hard drive, some of it local.

Those of you with problems, try trashing your preferences files for iTunes. I can't speak for the ITS in the US but i've just downloaded Give Up by the Postal Service perfectly from the UK store with iTunes 7.0.1.8 and Vista RC 2.

i hate it how apple/mircosoft wont let us convert WMAs into MP3s on the mac in iTunes, even though they have this feature in the windows version.

In the Windows version, Apple is using the system's WMA playback architecture.

Seems polished to me, but I'm an Apple Apologist.
