I have an intel-based Mac (Macbook 13) and i'm in a doubt.

My friends have created a network (we are connected in a LAN) to share files, and they use Hamachi (all of them have a PC with Windows). There's a available Hamachi version for Mac OS X, but seems it's necessary to install tun/tap drivers for Mac OS X.

The page for tun/tap drivers I have is:

http://www-user.rhrk.uni-kl.de/~nissler/tuntap/

For intel-based macs, the autor notice that it can crash the Mac. Is it possible to crash the Macbook by software? Or he refers only to the OS X? I'm not sure about this, and if anybody can help me about that, i will be very thankful. I'm a mac begginer. If anyone have tested or installed in his/her Macbook, it can be helpful too the results!!

Thx you.

Try HamachiX. I didn't have to install any tun tap drivers with it, so...

I get around this by using Hamachi under my Parallel's installation of Windows XP. Works out quite well.
