I'm not sure if this is Firefox 2's fault, but I noticed that after I installed it, all the little bookmark icons in Safari were erased and now I can't get them back even when I go to the site again.

Has anyone else noticed this? If it wasn't Firefox that did this, what else could have happened? And why can't I get those little icons back?

This could be a permissions problem. AFAIK the icons are cached in ~/Library/Safari/Icons. Navigate to that folder, Get Info on it and check its owner and permissions. Or maybe trash it, restart Safari and see whether that fixes the issue.
