I have an EyeTV which exports MPEG2 files ready to burn in Toast, but as often as not the audio is out of sync with the video and it's driving me nuts. Elgato say I should tell Toast to always re-encode, but this can make a 2 minute encode take several hours and is not a good enough solution.

Does anyone else have this problem? It's followed me through several versions of Toast, EyeTV and 3 different Macs and it's making the EyeTV a bit of a waste of space when it comes to making DVDs of the shows I record.

I got EyeTV 200 in 2004 and am now running their 1.8.3 software on a 10.3.9 G4 iMac and have followed the upgrade path to Toast 7. I have never seen your problem on my system over several versions of the EyeTV software and Toast.

I've just tried VisualHub and now I get great audio but flickering video!

Tempted to sell the bl00dy thing.
