Hi everyone,
I was wondering if I could get some advice as to courses to take.
I have extensive Excel experience, but have never played with writing macros at all. I've taken some basic programming courses in the past: Basic and Fortran. So I have some minor programming experience. But what I'd really like to do at this point is learn how to program Excel macros.
Also, I have zero Access experience and very little database experience. I used Filemaker years ago, but have had very little use for it since. I'm sure it's changed greatly in the interim, as have many databases. So I'm a total newb in this field.
I really wish my university had taught classes of this nature. Especially to those of us on finance and accounting tracks. It was greatly neglected though.
So does anyone have advice as to how I could go about learning this stuff. Investigate my local univ., any seminar experience, etc.?
Thanks!
Arty
