What would be a good lightweight browser to use on a Mac with such old hardware as the one I have?
Mac Mini / 1.33 G4 / 1 GB RAM / 32 MB Radeon 9200 / 5400 RPM 40 GB HD

Damn, you call that old? The Mac mini isn't old. And the Mac mini should have no trouble running any browser you want on it.

Well maybe not "old," but aging.

They should all run fine. Camino will probably be the fastest, it uses less RAM.

Only thing with Camino is this -
Microsoft’s Windows Media Player (WMP) plugin causes major rendering issues in Camino. Since Microsoft has discontinued WMP on Mac OS X, Camino no longer supports the use of the WMP plugin; instead, all users should download the free Flip4Mac (F4M) plugin, version 2.1 or higher, from flip4mac.com. Version 2.1 causes pages containing WMP content to become white when scrolled in Camino; there is currently no ETA for a fixed version of F4M. Users are advised to turn off the plugin.
Given how often we see WMP, Camino is basically useless until that is fixed, and that doesnt seem to be soon.

I'm surprised nobody has said Opera, which would be the case if this were XP

Have you tried it with Flip4Mac? I've never really encountered any problems. It might only be a problem on some badly designed pages.

Safari is cool and quite snappy™, especially with that much memory. And a Mac Mini is not ancient! Sheesh

iCab. Don't even try to run anything else on a machine over a year or so old. That thing's a relic. TWO CPU generations old? Throw that rusting old thing away and buy yourself a respectable machine. Sheesh.

slpdLoad, you're being sarcastic, right? When I saw the thread title, I thought it was going to be an old Power Mac 7200 or something like that.
I used to run all the browsers, including the "slow" ones, on a Power Mac G4/450 that was one third the clock speed of that mini, even disregarding improvements in IPS that the G4 processor made over the years. They all worked fine. You should just use whatever browser you like the most.
