i've noticed that in the Music folder, there are multiple copies of the same song. I only import cd's once, but if i am looking for a particular song, the search results will return 2, maybe 3 copies. Is there any (easy/fast) way to eliminate the unnecessary copies?

Go to the Duplicate Songs Option (I believe under View) in iTunes and delete them through there.
