I need a very simple apple script that just does one thing,. It sends a keystroke F key, but it needs to stay alive so I can have it in the Application switcher Cmd+Tab tool.
I want to have my dash board in the application switcher. So I can just simply jump there without a thought. Since I have to use fn+Fkey right now.

PLease dont question teh idea, it's just an old complaint I have always had and dont like useing the dock, and my hot corners are all used up for otehr expose things. Dashboard acts just like an app so it should live in my app switch as well..

activate
open application file "Dashboard.app" of folder "Applications" of startup disk
end tell

save as application, etc.

Hmm just works once but does not activate the dashboard anymore after it's open.

well it was worth a shot. I have always had good luck asking my applescript related questions in the developer forum.

The tricky part is that when Dashboard goes away, your app will be frontmost again.

O.o! Did not even think of that... ... grrrrrrrrrr well thats out of the question... It just bugs me a lot that I can t just simply hop to it in my frantic cmd-tab power...
