I'm running 6.0.X and wonder if the quirks have been removed from itunes 7 by now and if the update is worth making. Any thoughts on 6 vs 7 in terms of performance/stability/problems?

thanks in advance!

I didn't like the interface of iTunes 7 at first but some of the new features make adjusting to the new look worthwhile. If you have an iPod, you should definitely update - you have much more control over the iPod with iTunes 7. There are also other nice features, like being able to back up your library to disks and the ability to have different libraries in different locations. iTunes 7 has been stable for me and I'm enjoying it and using it much more than iTunes 6.

My upgrade to iTunes 7.0.1 was a disaster. I had to recover my entire library from my iPod. My daughter lost her entire library forever. I had to go back to iTunes 6. However, I just went to 7.0.2 last week and had no problems. I haven't heard of anyone having problems going from 6 to 7.0.2.
