I saved some files to a DVD with LiquidCD, and made the disk appendable. How does one append anything afterwards? I tried getting it to add more files to the disk, but it just sits there doing nothing. How do you append to an appendable disk?

1. Try asking in their support forum first. You're more likely to reach a developer or anyone who has ever used the program before.

2. Toast doesn't allow such things on DVDs (only CDs) and it's my understanding that it's because it's not part of the writable DVD standard. It may just be a bug that the program allowed you to do this with a DVD, in which case you might count yourself lucky the disk is even readable. I could be wrong about that, I haven't researched appendable or "open" discs in many years.

I don't think that feature works. I also tried it and then checked the disk in LiquidCD and Toast and it said the disk wasn't appendable. I couldn't find anything on LiquidCD's forums or in their documentation or FAQs about appendable DVDs. They just released an update to the program and I haven't tried it yet. If you find out how to create appendable DVDs with LiquidCD (or any other burning program), please post back. Thanks.
