I've got a nice little G4 cube setup with an airport card. My wife would like to use it to play music on our stereo via itunes & airtunes.

I've looked at the system requirements for iTunes 7 which are listed as a G3 500 mh. Does this completely rule out using my G4 450 mh cube? Perhaps I could get away with running an older version of iTunes?

"G3 500MHz or better" - your G4 chip is considered "better"

meh. i use iTunes 7 with my G4 400.. it should be fine
