Is there anyway to do this without OS 9 installed under the class emulation or w/e? I just want to play armour alley.

No, you need OS9 installed.
What the nerd community most often fail to realize is that all features aren't equal. A well implemented and well integrated feature in a convenient interface is worth way more than the same feature implemented crappy, or accessed through a annoying interface.

Actually, you're wrong. You can run OS 9 from a disc or image without it installed using sheepshaver. (found this out after further research).

If you have a PowerPC machine, you definitely want to install OS 9 on the hard drive. SheepShaver is an extremely buggy program, and not nearly as convenient or elegant as Classic.

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!
