The title says it all. My wife's new MacBook Pro occasionally doesn't go to sleep when closed. Resetting the PMU or PRAM fixes it, but is there any way to do it without rebooting?

I don't know of a software method to reset the PMU, and I'm not sure one is possible.
Why are you concerned about rebooting?

Because my wife has a million Firefox windows open at any given time, all with Very Important Things, which would go away if she rebooted.
I think I remember an old version of TechTool (I'm thinking the OS 8 days) which would reset the PRAM manually in the application....

Is it a Core 2 Duo MBPro? If not, there was an EFI update posted last week that is supposed to fix that issue.
