Not sure which forum to put this in: what seems to run better on a Core2 Duo Mac: CS2 under Rosetta, or CS2 in parallels on Windows? I have tried both, and the windows side seems faster. Anyone else have any thoughts?

Since the Windows' version is native to Windows and CS2 is PPC only, I'd say Windows

Will be fast as all hell, if the latest version of Acrobat is any indication.

I actually updated to Acrobat Pro 8.0 two weeks ago, but have yet to use it. I'll have to give it a spin just to test it out.

Just wanted to through it out there: how does acrobat compare to preview in terms of simply reading pdf files? I rarely use acrobat for anything else.

Preview is a lot less invasive. Only time I have used Acrobat for anything (personally) is to digitally sign a PDF.

I use Acrobat all the time for making forms out of PDFs people send me, so I don't have to write it out, then mail it back snail-mail.

I just started using preview for pdf's- it's amazingly fast, you can edit pdf's that have text input and spotlight searches open to the word you have searched for.

I have formally switched ot preview for now.
