I have been trying to update iPhoto on my MacBook (10.4.8) but I am getting this message after I download the update.

The digital signature for this package is incorrect. The package may have been tampered with or corrupted since being signed by “Apple”.

I bought this Intel based MacBook new from Apple a few months ago and have not done anything "exotic" to it. Can anyone tell me why I am getting this message and what I can do about it?
