I don't know if OS 9 within OS X questions really belong here, but anyway:

Has anyone used SheepShaver so they can run OS 9 on their Intel machine? It works great on my machine except that I can't get MS Office 98 to run. Anyone have this problem or have any ideas?

I'd love too but I need to get my hands on a OS9 (OS8 or system 7) disk. Looks very intriguing

I do run SheepShaver with OS 9.0.4, but I don't have a copy of Office unfortunately. I do have a copy of Appleworks 6 that works flawlessly, however.

Do those who use sheepshaver on intel macs have the networking going ok ? I run sheepshaver on my PPC OSX machine and the unix share point works fine.

I just installed it on my bosses new Macbook pro and the only way i can get files over is to mount the image in OSX and transfer the files into it that way.

Slirp is enabled and the TCP/IP is set to auto DHCP in os 8.6

Anything im doing wrong ? I have noticed many people have mentioned this problem but i have not found anyone who has found a solution yet.

Hmm, odd. No problem here with slirp, network is reliable and reasonably quick. Running OS 10.4.8 on my MacBook.
