I have been using Safari for quit some time now and today I finally decided to try our Mozilla Firefox 2. I was testing the two browsers and doing run times for websites vs. each other. Safari has the edge in speed however Firefox 2 has better options. Is there any way you an make Firefox faster?

I don't think that actually works. Everyone that reviewed it said it didn't.

It works. Of course, you might not be able to notice any gains.

I read on some Firefox blog that setting the MaxRequests to 30 has no effect. Setting it to 8 seems to have. I don't know what the deal is.

You could try the other power-browsers available such as OmniWeb and Opera. OmniWeb uses the same rendering engine as Safari (it's actually using a newer version than Safari is at the moment) called WebKit. Opera uses its own rendering engine.
