There's Adobe Reader; it's free but seems to get criticized at least as much as Preview. I seem to remember reading that the latest version (8) has some problems but don't recall what they are; I'm still using 7. Guess you'll just have to download it and see what works better for you. Maybe someone here will suggest other options.

I miss Windows functionality of viewing the next/previous Images by clicking on arrows in the Windows Image viewer. With Macs, I have to close the preview and double click on the next image manually.

Solution 1: In the Finder, command (apple) - A and then open all of them
or
Solution 2: Select all and righ click, "Slideshow"

Umm, what do you mean exactly? Preview hasn't lost any features during the various updates to the OS and software, it has gained them, so whatever it did on your iBook (in presumably an earlier version of the OS) it will also do on your MB.

swr_decadent, what version of OS X did your iBook have? I'm pretty sure version 3 in Tiger has all the features that the previous versions did, plus more. Which feature exactly is it that you need? Something to do with scrolling, full screen scrolling?

TexShop. PDFView.
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

Preview has a scroll tool - just select "Scroll Tool" from the Tools menu. There's also a toolbar button that looks like a cross, right next to the "A" that represents the text tool.

If what you are wanting to do is continuously scroll PDF documents rather than view them page-by-page, what you want to do is View -> PDF Display -> Continuous.

Theere's no A. The new one doesn't have scroll tool and text tool, theres a select tool at the menu but nothing happen when I click it. Plus if I use the thumbnail my picture (manga) doesn't appear in order I will see 005 at the bottom and number 50 at the top. Where can I download the old version of preview or a better application than preview? And thank you all for replying.

Get PDFView from Versiontracker or Macupdate.com. It is freeware, has a wonderful display, and will do continuous scrolling. It is fast and error free. A sheer delight.

Ah, I thought you were viewing PDFs. It seems like you're viewing image files instead, right? When viewing images, you wouldn't see the text tool. For image viewing, all you should have to do would be to zoom in to get the scrollers. If it's zoomed all the way out so it fits the window, you wouldn't get any scroll bars.

Maybe you should try actually buying a REAL comic book instead of stealing them from the internet. That way, everyone's problem is solved.
