I was wondering which is faster on intel macs.
15.4 MBP 2.33Ghz C2D, 3Gb, 120Gb HD, 256MB X1600, 10.5.1

I would guess that CS should have lesser system requirements than CS2 and so, should, technically, run faster. I would like to see some real world benches

About the same in launch time. Once the apps are open though, I find CS 2 to be a little faster.
