Ok this is tricky. I have MS Word 2004. Every time I send out an email to someone with a document attached it tells them that it has a W97M.Thus.A virus. I have tried going into my Macros folder and looking for anything suspicious. I have gone into the Microsoft Users folder and deleted the Normal file. I made sure that the file name was clean and has a .doc suffix. I have no idea what is going on. I called Apple and they told me it does not have a virus, But I have sent emails to a lot of people and they all don't want to open it because it tells them that it contain the W97M.Thus.A virus. Someone Please Help!

I second the ClamXav recommendation. I know Symantec (Norton) Antivirus will clean the infected files (I had a user a couple of months ago with this same macro virus on her system), and the virus is so old I would imagine most av engines can detect/clean it. Once the infected files are cleaned, delete the Normal template file for good measure.
