What is the maximum 'suggested' amount of cluster nodes that Final Cut pro using xgrid should use so that it reaches the optimum limit of use on a gigabit LAN?
For example: I have 15 networked computers that use FCP xgrid, and the network can easily handle the sending of 'to do data' and 'finished' data to and from the controler machine (the one with fcp on it)... what is the number of nodes that I could add before it bottlenecks and becomes unnecessary to add more machines?
Like if I had 100 machine cluster, I would need more than a gigabit to send all the data.
