I know I can use iChat for AIM network, but I'm looking for other possibilities.
In windows I usually use Adhack for AIM to rid of all the adware and unwanted items in AOL's program. Is there anything of this sorts for OS X?

Or are there any other programs worth taking a look at, that utilizes the AIM network?

Who in their right mind would use the official AIM app over Adium/iChat???
