i downloaded shapeshifter to mess with the UI of my macbook, and all it did was lag it to hell, i suppose the culprit might have been the new version of application enhancer it automatically installed,,, so i deleted both of these programs....

my macbook was much faster than when i had installed it,, but it is still not as sharp as it used to be , even after deletion. It seems web pages take a little longer to load, and overall its not as spiffy..

any thoughts?

I believe that SS has an uninstaller so if you deleted, i.e., trashed the program you didn't get it all. I would think the easiest way to clean it up is to run the uninstall. You may need to install then uninstall if the uninstall fails now that you deleteed the main application.

Also ShapeShifter installs APE and you can see that in your system preferences. That too will need to be uninstalled (as opposed to deleting).
