i know this has prob. been discussed before

but i have a 2 yr old G5, w/twin 2.5 ghz processors

and the fan is LOUD at times

yes, i've set it for the lower an setting in preferences but still too noisy at times

has anyone found any 3rd party software that actually helped? i know others have had this problem as well
