I am trying to video call with my family over the holidays. They have pcs and my wife and I have macs.
We could not video conf. with ichat and aim, so we are trying skype. Does anyone know if there are any special settings between a mac and pc for video calls over skype?

No, it just works. Make sure to have the most recent version of Skype installed on all systems.

thank you very much. We tried it a minute ago. the only problem was a loud echo.

You should use a headset or headphones -- no matter if you are on a pc or a mac.

I got this too on the Mac end. We were both using headphones/headsets.

Her voice was very low and my voice echoed in my ear like I was screaming. It was a software glitch for sure.
