I have two digital cameras, a Canon Powershot SD400 and a Nikon D40 Digital SLR. The Canon is in my pocket almost all of the time and is what I use for just random pictures. The Nikon I use for my more serious pictures. I want iPhoto to open when I connect the Canon and Aperture to open when I connect the Nikon, if thats possible. Any help is appreciated.

I know of no way to do this. Only thing that might help a little is changing the Image Capture preferences to open NO application when a camera is connected. This way you at least avoid having to close the app you don't want.

I think it would be an even better idea if you use different Libraries or different folders in Aperture for instance. Have you thought of that?
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.
