hey everyone im looking for an app that can convert OGM to something to play on a dvd player. i have Toast 7, Imovie, quicktime pro, and final cut pro education. i just need to convert OGM to like AVI or something else.

Not sure if you'll get them playing in DVD Player, but you can probably play them in VLC which has a full screen mode.

Why are you using items in OGM if you can't play them correctly I guess is my question I already know the answer to.

they were downloaded as OGM files and wont play in a dvd player if burned. is there a way to convert?

VLC has an "export wizard" that will probably work. Choose mpeg-4 for everything if you don't know your DVD basics and author in Toast, or choose mpeg-2 if you do (if you can mux and author yourself, like with Sizzle or DVDSP).

If VLC doesn't work, you can demux ogms with the command line ogmtools, then work with what you get from there (usually avi and ogg vorbis).
