Alright, I burned Sin City to my hard drive with MacTheRipper. I have the whole movie, but it's in 7 different parts. Like, part one is the first half hour of the movie, and part 7 is the last half hour of the movie. Also, each of the parts are around 800 MB, which means the movie itself is over 5 gigs. What I'm am asking you is... what program should I use to put the files together, and also, what program should I use to bring the file size down? Right now, each of the parts is in .vob
Thanks!

Handbreak will do what you want. Just launch it and direct it to the video_ts folder of the movie. Set it to the settings you would like and let it go. It will drastically cut down the size of the movie along with put it into a file readable by quicktime.

Well, I downloaded handbrake. Whenever I select the folder (called "Sin City") containing the files for the movie (Which I have named "Part 1", "Part 2" etc) it says "No valid file found"
Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Have you tryed selecting the video_TS folder inside the folder marked Sin City? If that doesnt work you could always just put in the Sin City DVD and rip it from the dvd with handbreak. It will go straight from the DVD to the mpeg4 or AVI file type depending on your settings in handbreak.

The problem is that you renamed the files.
BTW, the correct term is rip, not burn. Going from disc to computer is ripping. Going from computer to disc is burning.

Damn. And I don't remember what the files were called either... I guess I need to have the folder that I'm selecting called "video_ts", right? I don't have the DVD anymore. My friend let me borrow it. Is there I was to know what they were called?
