I use a Mac at home and I just got a new Mac to use at work to replace my crappy Windows machine. I have been syncing my cell phone (RAZR v3) with my home Mac's Address Book and iCal using iSync without problems.

What would happen if I set up my work computer to sync with the same phone? Am I going to run into any problems?

You should sync from a single machine to the phone. Otherwise I'd expect problems.
