i have a flash cartoon i made saved in .swf and id love to turn it into a video so i can easily share it with my friends and distribute it on email. is there any easy way to do this? if so, what program would do the trick?

wouldn't sending the SWF be better than sending a video through email? Most everyone can view flash files in their browser. Unless you are doing something wacky, a SWF animation is going to be a smaller file than a video...

BTW, you can save your animation as a movie right out of the Flash development environment.

File/Export/Export Movie and choose "Quicktime Video" as the format.

yes it would, but honestly for some of my friends thats asking too much, plus itd be nice to have it as a .mov like the rest of my work. the reason i have this issue is i only have the .swf file and the machine i did the project on was wiped clean at the end of the semester at school. so no flash studio on this computer... :-(
