if I am wanting to setup an email acct using aol--what do i enter as far as server type etc. I fugred it would be POP and aol.com.

thanks for the help. Now I can get mail but still having a problem sending. I followed the directions and ASOL is of no help. If anyone could could give me some guidance as to the server settings. I have changed the SSL setting, password verify etc.

No offense but just a few quick searches on google will probably answer all your questions. I don't think many people here use AOL. This belongs in the Applications forum anyway.

BTW, I can not find the option to keep the mails in my Inbox (AOL web mail mode), they are deleted even when listed as unread… so if I don't check the mail out for let's say one week, the mail is gone.
