Quick question, I have been using VLC for a quite a while and love it but I haven't figured out if it can work inside of Safari or Firefox. Has anyone been able to do this or does VLC only work as a stand alone?

It can, but not very well (on any platofrm). Stick with downloading videos and opening them in VLC.

Oh, thanks for your help you guys, VLC works so well with so many codecs, especially windows media crap that I wanted to use it primarily within Safari. Flip4Mac is cool but of course not perfect.
