Somebody told me that if I search for apps as solid as the iApps of Mac OS X, I will find some for old Macs running OS 9, I need basic apps for my PB3400, for pics, for music, for video and for internet, more or less like the iLife suite but for OS 9, can anybody tell me where to find those?

GraphicConverter should work well for pics under OS 9, and you can try iCab or Internet Explorer for internet browsing. I'm not sure about music and video.

iMovie started as a Classic app and it was free.

Nevermind, just noticed that you have a PowerBook 3400. Those don't have FireWire and iMovie (for OS 9) requires FireWire to launch.

Not true.

"no FireWire card. Since I had no FireWire card it alerted me that no FireWire DV extensions were installed and I would not be able to use a camcorder. Really! Who cares click OK."

The releases of iMovie for OS 9 were awful anyway - completely unstable.

For browsing, I'd pick Mozilla or perhaps Opera.

Cool. I haven't seen it in about 5-6 years so I was just going from memory.
