I've added a lot of movies from personal collection into my iTunes library. I do this by ripping my movies and then encoding them using Handbrake or Quicktime Pro. I have an older collection of Divx movies I ripped and compressed back from my school days. I converted them in Quicktime Pro into high quality H.264 files. I have no idea why Quicktime (An Apple application) takes ten times longer than single person developed freeware application, but this is besides the point/
Anyways, I import my converted movies into the Music/iTunes/Movies directory and the file plays fine though iTunes. However, when I go to add cover art, I get a beach ball of death and I have to force quit iTunes. When I reopen iTunes the file cover is a plain white square and half or more of the movie is also a plain white square with maybe half or less of the movie still intact. WTF???
Has anyone else experienced a similar problem? Anyway on how to correct it? Finder is still reporting the size of the file to be in the 1+ GB range.
