you know, the ruler that appers in MS word every time your cursor goes near the top of the pg?

i usta have a note on how to lose this annoying thing, but can't find it now!

Not sure I have seen what you describe I have used every version of Word since 5.1, and the ruler was either shown or hidden, but not as you describe.
Ignore the argumentative nature of this poster. He is old and can't engage in meaningful dialog
very long. Therefore, management asks that you at least humor him. Thanks.

you must've already turned yours off

i find if you are in any word document and the cursor wanders all the way to the top of the pg., a ruler appears. it vanishes again as soon as you move the cursor away

am i the only one? ; )

like i said, i did learn how to lose it, but lost my note on that

i think MS told me
